Bandung is one of the largest city in Indonesia. There are several international flights from Malaysia and Singapore to Bandung Hussein Sastranegara Airport, in regular (daily) basis. There are also a number of domestic flight connecting Bandung to major cities in Indonesia, e.g. Jakarta, Surabaya and Denpasar.

From Capital City Jakarta, Bandung can also be reached by car, travel bus, and train. With approximate distance of 150 km, trip from Jakarta to Bandung takes 4 hours or more depends on the mode of transportation and traffic condition.

Aryaduta Hotels is located at the very center of Bandung city. It is only 5 kilometers from Hussein Sastranegara Airport and 4 kilometers from Bandung Train Station. Several shopping centers and tourist attractions are located nearby.

International participants are suggested to take connecting flight to Hussein Sastranegara Airport, but another options maybe of interest.


Jakarta - Bandung (by train ~5 hours)

Take airport train from Cengkareng (Soekarno-Hatta) International Airport to Manggarai Station (last stop). Take local train (commuterline) to Bekasi Station. From Bekasi Station, there is Argo Parahyangan Train for Bandung Station. Please consult Railink, Commuterline and KAI for airport train, commuterline, and intercity train schedule and ticketing. From Bandung Station, take taxi to Aryaduta Hotels.

Jakarta - Bandung (by travel bus ~6 hours)

Several travel bus are available every hour at the Cengkareng International Airport. Xtrans, Daytrans, and CitiTrans can be used to reach Bandung. The booth for those travel bus are located at the corner of the terminal.

Local Transportation

Bandung has minibus as the main public transportation. However, it is not recommended for tourist/foreigner to take public transportation without any guidance as it is quite challenging as most of the drivers can not speak English. App-based taxi or motor-taxi are more preferable. Smartphone application such as Gojek, Grab, and Uber can be used for local transportation in Bandung.
